I am 71 years old with P3L3 with Post Hysterectomised with Right overian complex cyst with DM + with Hypertension with Obstructive sleep Apnea. Also I am Diabetic with insulin intake 4 times a day. At this health conditions of so many complications I have Consulted Dr.Shalini alongwith my husband 75 years old who has given counseling and courage to us to undergo Laparotomy. Dr. Shalini has taken risk and responsibility to do Laparotomy surgery and stood behind me through out my stay in the hospital as well as monitored my post operative health for the last two months with periodical reviews. My maid was asked to come over to a resident’s house for work. That was the first time she was going there. They have a dog. The dog was not on a leash. The dog came to the lady & bit her on her thigh. She had to leave immediately. Nothing was done. She informed me about this yesterday. I was disturbed. I immediately asked Dr. Krishna, who responded at once. He said that he has a couple of Anti-rabies injections which I could pick up from his house. I took the lady, picked up the injections, which was graciously handed over by Dr. Krishna. I thank him for his magnanimity. We went to Vivekananda Hospital ER. They attended to the wound & gave a regime to be followed. I guess all will be well. The reason why I have explained this is to Request all owners/lovers of dogs to be careful. Please do not keep them unleashed when a new comer enters the house. It is imperative to take care of the dog & the visitor. Also I thank Dr. Krishna for his prompt response & large heartedness.
