In short: Any gig or platform worker in Hyderabad can register free with us. There is no card to buy and no fee. You get 24 hour emergency and accident care, a written price before any planned treatment, free help claiming the accident insurance you may already have through the platform you work with, and free health camps at your hub. Call or WhatsApp 7207904418 to register or to arrange a camp.
Who this is for
If your income depends on an app and a vehicle, or on shift work in a warehouse or someone's home, this is for you. It does not matter which company you work through, or whether you work for several. Your family is covered by the same free registration.
If you have an accident on the road
Most of the injuries we treat in this group come from the same thing: a bike going down in traffic. Here is exactly what to do, and it is worth reading now rather than on the day.
Say you are a delivery rider or driver and tell us where you are and what happened. Our casualty team gets ready while you are still on the way. If you cannot call, get someone at the scene to call for you.
Our emergency entrance is on Greenlands Road, Begumpet. Treatment starts first. Nobody is turned away at the door over money, and the billing conversation happens once you are stable.
You are not sent across town for an X-ray with a broken arm. Digital X-ray, ultrasound and the lab are all on site, so we can see the injury quickly and start treating it.
This is the part most workers miss. If you have cover through the platform you work with, our desk does the paperwork and follows it up, at no charge.
What we can treat here
We are a 100-bed multispecialty hospital, not a clinic, so a road accident does not mean being sent somewhere else halfway through.
The injuries themselves are usually straightforward. What costs riders their livelihood is going back to work too early on a fracture that has not united, because nobody explained the timeline and there was no money coming in. Get it fixed properly once, follow the rehab, and you ride for another twenty years.

Free help claiming your accident insurance
Most gig workers have cover they never use
Telangana was the first state in India to provide accident insurance for gig workers, and many platforms also provide cover to their partners. Very few workers ever claim it, because the forms, the hospital documents and the follow-up defeat people who are injured and losing income at the same time. So we do it for you.
- We check what cover you have and what it actually pays
- We prepare the hospital papers the insurer asks for
- We submit the claim and chase it up
- Free, and we help even if you were treated somewhere else
What treatment costs
You are told the price before treatment starts. For planned treatment such as a fracture, piles or fissure, a hernia or a kidney stone, registered workers get an agreed price in writing before you decide anything. No surprise bill at discharge.
In an emergency, treatment starts first and the costs are explained to you and your family once you are stable. We are also empanelled with CGHS, ESI, Aarogyasri, Arogyabhadratha and more than 25 private insurers, so if you are covered by a scheme, tell us and we will check what applies.
Common health problems in this work
Beyond accidents, the work itself causes predictable problems. Riders and drivers sit or ride for ten hours, skip meals, hold urine for a full shift, and breathe traffic air.
Get a basic check once a year even when you feel fine, because high blood pressure and high blood sugar cause nothing at all until they cause something serious. Our free hub camps exist for exactly this.
Free health camps at your hub
We bring the doctor to you, at your hub or dark store, usually in the quiet stretch between the lunch and dinner peaks so it does not cost you deliveries. Blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, eyesight, back and posture, and hearing, checked in about ten minutes. There is no charge and no obligation.
If anything looks off, we call you within two days to explain what it means and what to do. If you manage a hub or a fleet, message us and we will schedule one.
Arrange a campFor hub managers, fleet owners and worker unions
If you are responsible for a group of riders, drivers or warehouse staff, we will set up a standing arrangement for your people rather than a discount leaflet.
- A named contact at the hospital for your hub, reachable directly, not a call centre
- Free health camps at your location, scheduled around your shift pattern
- Agreed prices in writing for common procedures, so your workers know before they commit
- Free accident insurance claim assistance for anyone in your group
- A printed emergency board for your wall, so the number is there when it is needed
- A summary of what we found at your camps, so you know the health picture of your workforce
Registering is free and takes two minutes
Register at a camp, or message us on WhatsApp and we will do it over chat. If anyone ever asks a gig worker to pay to join this, it is not us.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a health card I have to buy?
No. Registration is free and there is no card to buy, no joining fee and no monthly payment. You register once, either at a camp at your hub or over WhatsApp, and you get access to our emergency care, agreed prices before treatment, free claim help and free camps. If anyone asks you to pay to join, it is not us.
What should I do if I have a road accident while working?
Call us on 7207904418 and say you are a delivery rider or driver, and tell us where you are. Our casualty team gets ready while you are on the way. Come straight to the emergency entrance on Greenlands Road, Begumpet. Treatment starts first and the money side is sorted after you are stable. X-ray, scans and lab are all in the same building.
Do you really help with accident insurance claims for free?
Yes. Many gig workers already have accident cover through the platform they work with and never claim it because the paperwork is confusing. Our desk checks what cover you have, prepares the hospital documents the insurer asks for, submits the claim and follows it up. There is no charge, and we help whether you were treated with us or somewhere else.
Do I need health insurance to be treated at Vivekananda Hospital?
No. Most gig workers pay cash and that is fine. If you do have cover, whether it is from a platform, a private policy, or a government scheme such as Aarogyasri, CGHS or ESI, bring the details and we will check what applies. We are empanelled with CGHS, ESI, Aarogyasri, Arogyabhadratha and more than 25 private insurers.
How much will treatment cost?
For planned treatment such as a fracture, piles, hernia or a kidney stone, registered workers are given an agreed price in writing before you decide, so there is no surprise bill at discharge. In an emergency, treatment starts first and costs are explained to you and your family once you are stable. Ask your hub contact or message us for the current price for your treatment.
Can my family use this too?
Yes. Registration covers you and your immediate family, at no cost. Your family can use the free first consultation and the agreed prices in the same way you can, and they are welcome at the free health camps we run at partner hubs.
How do we get a free health camp at our hub?
If you manage a hub, dark store, fleet or worker group, message us on 7207904418 and we will arrange a camp at your location. A doctor comes to you, usually in the quiet afternoon window between the lunch and dinner peaks, and checks blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, eyesight, back and posture, and hearing. It takes about ten minutes per person and costs nothing.
Which delivery or ride-hailing companies is this for?
All of them, and none of them exclusively. This programme is run by Vivekananda Hospital and is open to anyone doing gig or platform work in Hyderabad, whether you deliver food or groceries, drive a cab or auto, work in a warehouse or dark store, or do home services. We are not connected to or endorsed by any platform company.
