Reviewed by our consultant physicians, with references to WHO and Indian guidelines.
Private by design
Every tool runs on your device. Nothing you enter is stored, sent, or shared.
A calculator is a starting point, not a diagnosis. The most useful next step is to let a doctor read your result alongside your history and a simple blood test. If your numbers point to raised risk, our guides on fatty liver, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol explain what they mean, and a general physician in Hyderabad can put the whole picture together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these health tools free to use?
Yes, every calculator on this page is completely free to use, with no sign-up and no charge. You can also embed some of them on your own website. They are provided as a public health resource by Vivekananda Hospital, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
Why do your tools use Indian cut-offs instead of Western ones?
Indians and other Asians develop diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease at lower body weights than Western populations, because they carry more body fat at the same measurement. The WHO and Indian guidelines therefore set lower thresholds for Asians. Our tools use these so the risk they show reflects your body, not a chart built for a different population.
Is my data stored when I use a calculator?
No. Every calculation runs entirely on your device in your browser. Nothing you enter, such as your height, weight, or age, is stored, sent to a server, or shared with anyone. When you close or refresh the page, the numbers are gone.
Can these tools replace a doctor's assessment?
No. These calculators are screening tools that help you understand your numbers, not a diagnosis. Real risk is confirmed by a doctor reading your result alongside your history, examination, and a simple blood test. Use the tools to decide whether to get checked, then see a physician for the full picture.
Who reviews these health tools?
Our tools are reviewed by the consultant physicians at Vivekananda Hospital, including Dr. Ravi Sishir Reddy (MBBS, MD General Medicine), and are based on WHO and Indian medical guidelines. Each tool page names its reviewer and links to the sources used, so you can see the basis for every cut-off.
Your Numbers, Read the Right Way
Use the tools to see where you stand, then let our physician read them alongside a simple blood test and tell you what to actually do. Often the same day, at our Begumpet OPD.
